ABA & Your Inclusive Classroom - UNLIMITED ACCESS DVD

(This pre-recorded webinar on CD will be shipped to you for unlimited viewing.)

Grades K-12

What You Will Learn:

Students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are increasingly being included in general education classrooms – because multiple learning opportunities occur in the general ed environment that cannot be replicated in segregated settings. Inclusive settings have been demonstrated to enable students with ASD to more effectively generalize and apply the skills that they have learned.

In segregated settings, however, students with ASD would benefit from evidence-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) interventions. Most general ed teachers have not received the training they need to put ABA into practice in a straightforward and easy-to-apply format.

This engaging 90-minute research-based webinar with author, professor and ABA expert Dr. Debra Leach will provide a framework for designing and implementing applied behavior analysis interventions within general ed classrooms. Although students with ASD may need specialized interventions in order to fully engage, learning basic ABA principles can help general ed teachers better work with these students.
Of course, most general ed teachers will not become experts in ABA. But they can learn how to apply ABA teaching principles to improve the success of students with ASD.
